Kitchen Crafts - Summer Salad Ideas
This course will give you basic preparation & cookery skills to be able to produce healthy affordable meals for your family or one!
On this course. we will cover a range of basic salads to include Niçoise salad, Caesar salad, cous cous, Greek and Caprese salad covering basic knife skills and food safety associated with cooked, ready to eat products. We will also cover simple dressings and seasonings used in salads.
This course is aimed at:
- Adults with little experience or low confidence in the kitchen
- Home cooks that want to improve their range of recipes and skills
- People that want to learn in a relaxed fun environment
This course is FREE given that the following eligibility is met:
- You live within the Greater Manchester area
- You have lived in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years now and/or have a settled status
- Asylum Seekers must have been in the country for the past 6 months before they are eligible to do this course
Note: If you enrol on further study you may be asked to provide proof of income or benefit.
Once you have applied for the course the Catering department will be in touch to discuss which taster session you would like to study.
Start date: 6th June 2024.

There are no formal entry requirements needed for this course. You must be 19 or over.
