If you have not attained GCSE grades 4-9 in English and Maths, you will automatically be enrolled in classes to work towards these qualifications at an appropriate level to suit your ability.

All staff have a great deal of work experience delivering excellent teaching standards combined with a vital understanding on how the Media industry works. This allows you to unlock potential work experience or employment in the Media.

There is no specific work experience required or undertaken for this course however there is a practical element. You can work with clients to develop video content followed by a professional brief of what the client has requested. This allows you to get a first-hand view of working with clients in the Media industry.
Upon completion of this course, you have a number of options to choose from. If you wish to continue your studies, this course provides UCAS points in the range of 120-360 - which can help with entry to higher education or provide enough on its own depending on the degree/course chosen and institution.
Alternatively, it will be time to enter employment with possible careers such as: Film and TV producer, Cameraman, Editor, Sound Recording, DJ/ Radio Presenter, Researcher, Runner, Studio Technician, Lighting Engineer and Location Work
